
Sales Representative
Job Description
We’re seeking a result-driven sales representative with excellent interpersonal skills to actively seek out and engage customer prospects on advertising on a leading ad platform in Nigeria. The sales representative will strongly understand our sales process, excelling at generating leads, building relationships, and closing deals.
Objectives
Represent our company’s services/platform, starting with a deep and comprehensive understanding and following with consumer research to identify how our solutions/platform meets client needs.
Meet weekly, monthly, and annual sales targets through the successful implementation of sales and marketing strategies and tactics.
Generate leads and build relationships through planning and organizing a daily work schedule to contact and meet with existing or potential clients.
Develop and implement territory action plan through comprehensive analysis, and adjust sales techniques based on interactions and results in the field.
Responsibilities

Present, promote and sell services/platform features using solid arguments to existing and prospective clients.

Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential clients to meet their needs.

Monitor and manage client accounts and offer recommendations on ad/campaign performance optimization.

Supply manager with daily/weekly/monthly reports on client needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new services/features.

Establish, develop and maintain positive business and client relationships.

Reach out to and generate leads through cold calling, email, social networks, and onsite visits.

Interface with partner advertising agencies on executing client ad campaigns on the platform.

Generate and send reports on campaign performance to clients upon request or at agreed intervals.

Expedite the resolution of client problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.

Analyze and monitor competitor activities, offerings, and platform features.

Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments.

Analyze the territory/market’s potential, and track sales and status reports.

Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends.

Continuously improve through feedback.
Requirements
-
At least 2 years of proven work experience as a Sales Representative in the AdTech/online advertising industry.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, negotiation, time management, and organizational skills.

Experience working as a digital marketer, social media manager, web publisher or content creator.

Proficiency and excellent knowledge of Excel, Word, Powerpoint and other MS packages.

Proficiency with sales management software and CRM tools.

Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales.

Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience’s needs.

Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
Bonus Points

BA/BSC/HND in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or related discipline.
